Here are some things to remember to do the week or the day of.
Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to take on and off.
Wear your makeup, or don’t. We will cleanse your skin as part of the service.
Skip any strong at home facial treatments or exfoliation treatments a few days prior. We do not want our products to counter-act with your regimen.
Stay away from excessive sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 5 days prior.
Familiarize yourself with the names of the skin care and makeup products that you are using. Having these details will help your esthetician to create a more effective skincare plan.
Be prepared to discuss any medications or conditions that may be a contraindication for your facial treatment.
Getting ready for a big event? If you have never had a facial before and are not sure how your skin will respond, we recommend scheduling an appointment at least six weeks in advance with a follow-up appointment closer to the event date. This way you will have time to address any negative skin reactions and get the maximum results from your service. Don’t have that much time? That’s ok! Our licensed esthetician will help you pick the best service.
Be prepared to discuss your skin concerns and goals. We are here to help you achieve your best, most flawless-looking, skin.

Here are some things to remember to do the week or the day of.
Grow it out! The wax needs something to grab on to so at least a quarter of an inch of hair is perfect.
Try not to wait too long between removal sessions. Longer and thicker hair tends to be more painful to remove so staying on a healthy removal schedule will cause the hairs to grow back finer and reduce any discomfort.
Be prepared to discuss any medications or conditions that may be a contraindication for your wax treatment.
Relax. Do not feel self conscious. Feeling a little awkward is normal for some wax services. We are professionals and promise to handle each client with the utmost respect.
Gently exfoliate the night before to prep the skin and lift the hairs. It is difficult for the wax to grip hairs that are flush to the skin.
-
Wash your face thoroughly. Having a clean face will help us to keep our appointment on time.
Put your contacts in, if you need to wear them. Doing this after your makeup is done puts you at risk of getting particles inside of your eye.
Brush your teeth. We understand wanting to eat or drink before brushing your teeth. However, it can be difficult not to ruin your makeup trying to do this afterward.
If you are not coming fully dressed, wear a loose-fitting, button-up or zip-up shirt so that you do not smudge your makeup when changing into your final outfit.
-
Your spa treatment session is for your enjoyment and relaxation. The best environment is provided without anyone accompanying you into your actual treatment session room, which is why only minors accompanied by an adult are allowed to have anyone in the actual treatment room for observation. Minors who are not being serviced are not allowed to accompany their parents.
